How to set up your Men Slide Belt:

Before cutting your slide belt, please thoroughly read our warranty and return policy.

Every leathe slide belt can be cut for one’s waist size.

Determine your waist size and add two inches. Since sizing varies across brands, we recommend cutting the strap two sizes larger than your waist size, and then reducing the length as necessary.

Using a good, sturdy pair of scissors, cut the strap at the size previously determined.

Attach the buckle by clamping the trap door down on the cut end of the strap. The teeth on trap door will secure the buckle to the strap.

Try on your slide belt. If it is still too long for your liking, detach the buckle from the strap and cut again. Repeat until your SlideBelt hugs your waist just like you want.

If you are having difficulty detaching the buckle from the unfinished, cut end of the strap, try using a dull object to pry open the trap door. Or grab one of our nifty Buckle Removal Tools!

Step-by-Step Guide to Setting Up a Tactical Belt

Now that you have chosen the right tactical belt and accessories, it's time to set up your belt for optimal functionality. Follow these step-by-step instructions:

1. Positioning the Inner Belt: Start by threading the inner belt through your belt loops, ensuring that it sits snugly around your waist. Adjust the belt's length to achieve a comfortable fit, leaving enough room for adjustments later.

2. Securing the Inner Belt: Once you've positioned the inner belt, use belt keepers to secure it in place. Attach the belt keepers around the belt and through the loops on your pants, ensuring that they are evenly spaced.

3. Attaching the Outer Belt: Slide the outer belt onto the inner belt, aligning the belt keepers with the loops on the outer belt. Make sure the outer belt sits securely on top of the inner belt and does not slide or shift during movement.

4. Positioning Holsters and Pouches: Determine the optimal positions for your holsters, magazine pouches, and utility pouches based on your dominant hand and personal preference. Attach them securely to the outer belt, ensuring that they are easily accessible and do not hinder your movement.

5. Adjusting Belt Tension: Adjust the tension of your tactical belt to achieve a comfortable and secure fit. It should be tight enough to prevent sagging but not so tight that it restricts your movement or causes discomfort. Test the belt's tension by performing various movements to ensure it stays in place.
