Ratchet belts made in USA workshops go through the same leather-cutting process this one does, hole-free from the start.

The strap is full-grain leather, 35mm wide, cut to a 110cm to 125cm range so you trim it to your exact waist. There's no hole punched anywhere on the strap. Instead, a fine-tooth track sits under the leather and slides through the buckle for an easy, exact adjustment. The slide motion is smooth in both directions, so tightening or loosening takes one hand and no fumbling, even when you're getting dressed in a hurry.

Holes weaken leather at fixed points and only give you a handful of sizes to choose from. A hole-free strap keeps the leather's full strength across its length and lets you land on your exact size instead of the closest one.
